Aysha is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise Sports Science Australia after completing a Bachelor's of Exercise Physiology at The University of NSW. Since completing her studies, she has done extensive professional development in a variety of areas including becoming a Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach with The Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA).
Aysha has a strong passion in health, well-being and being active, as well as helping those around her to lead a healthier lifestyle. She is skilled in exercise prescription and delivery, clientele monitoring and assessment, and reducing injury risk. Additionally she has a strong background in working with variety of sport teams, including Rugby Union and Ice Hockey, in developing Strength and Conditioning, injury prevention and rehabilitation programs.
She has worked with Randwick Rugby Union Club as part of the Strength and Conditioning unit. She currently volunteers her expert knowledge with the Sydney Bears Ice Hockey Team. Focusing on strength programs in and out of season, reducing injury risk and teaching technical lifting in the training gym.
Her love of sport also lead her to an intership at Peak Power Sport Development, in Calgary, Canada. Where she worked with Collegiate Athletes in Ice Hockey and the Alpine Alberta Ski team which she found extremely rewarding.
Aysha recognises that being an Exercise Physiologist is an extremely rewarding field as she gets to help clients achieve their health goals through the prescription of exercise.
